Introduction

Hi, I'm Danielle Garner and I grew up in Danville, CA. I am an exercise biology major and I am going to study medicine after I graduate from UCD. I love learning about muscles, bones, and how the human body uses them throughout its daily activities. Before I graduate, I hope to take a class learning about sport related injuries. My dream job would be to be an orthopedic physician (or surgeon) and work specifically with athletes. This quarter I am only taking two science classes, and I am looking forward to taking a more balanced schedule. So far this class has opened my mind into viewing landscapes and maps as more than an image, and I am excited for what else I will learn in this class. I am also looking forward to learning about genetics in my biology class. I want people to know that I love listening to music and playing sports. I listen to most every genre of music, and I am always open to something new. I've played sports my entire life, and I hope to work with athletes in the future to keep sports in my life.
