Introduction

   My name is Alejandra Gallegos.  I was born in Stockton ,CA and have lived there up until now. My major is political science but I am most excited to see if my major confirms my interest in becoming a lawyer. I am looking forward to see my progression this quarter from a high school student to a college student. However, although I never really considered all the different ways maps are significant, I am also excited to see all the different ways they are useful besides for directions. I am excited to gain a different perspective on how something, such as a map or landscpe image, can tell a story. I would like people to know that I have a passion for traveling. I love to go out and experience different places and sights.
